Ah is an early moon god who became associated with Thoth and Khonsu after the Old Kindgom. His name means "moon". In art, Ah is shown as a young man wrapped as a mummy wearing a beard, a wig, and a crescent moon crown. Sometimes he is also wearing the Atef crown with another lunar disc above it. He may also be holding a staff in one hand. |
