Anhur is a war god who personified the warlike aspects of the sun. He is associated with Ra and Shu. Anhur's consort is Mekhit.

In art Anhur appears as a robed man wearing a two or four-plumed crown. He may be carrying a spear, or be leading the sun by a cord. He is usually seen wearing a short wig and a long feather-patterned kilt.
