Ba-Neb-Djet is the god of arbitration, sexual prowess, and lawyers. His worship started in Mendes, where he forms a triad with Hat Mehit and Harpakhrad. He is also the personification of the souls of Geb, Osiris, Ra, and Shu. In art, Ba-Neb-Djet appears as a man with the head of a goat or of a ram, or as a ram. During the New Kingdom he was usually portrayed as having four heads, two facing forward and two facing backward. |
