Pantheon: Egyptian
Tem is a god of creation, one of the earliest recorded. He brought everthing into existance by thinking about them. Tem is also the personification of the setting sun, especially when associated with Ra and Kheper. In many places in Egypt, Kheper took on many of Shu's aspects, especially after the Middle Kingdom. In art, Tem appears as a man wearing the Double Crown of Egypt, and carrying a scepter and an ankh. |
