Wenpwawet is a god of the dead and of war. In later times he was associated with Anubis and Ra, though he is a god in his own right. He helps to steer Ra's boat through The Underworld. In art, Wepwawet appears as a wolf or jackal-headed man, or as a jackal. He is usually coloured grey, and may have a bow or mace with him. |
